# Types of In-Game Assets
emoji™ Marble Dash follows a **simple rule**: everyone plays the same game, and Web3/blockchain is optional.
All items are earned as traditional in-game items. If a player wants full ownership or the ability to trade, they can mint their items on the **dedicated emoji™ marketplace**.
### Primary Assets
#### 🔵 **Marbles**
Your Marble is your main racing vehicle. They come in different designs, from basic to rare animated versions.
#### 🃏 **Ability Cards**
These let you strategize your racing style as they affect your performance. Higher-rarity cards give you competitive advantages that you may want to keep and trade.
#### 🚀 **emoji™ Boosters**
Boosters provide permanent stat bonuses in Speed, Power, or Resistance. They let you refine your racing style.
#### 😀 **Characters**
These are the racers you control on the track. Each one has a distinct look and vibe, from cute to cool. They don’t affect gameplay, but they make the race more fun and personal.
🤩 **Skins**\
Visual upgrades for the characters. Thanks to the emoji™ brand’s global recognition, many skins carry strong collectible appeal.
#### Non-Blockchain Items
🎭 **Profile Pictures**\
Social items that let players express themselves. They stay off-chain to keep things simple.
🦜 **emoji™ Vocabular**y
You can use these social items to communicate in the lobby. They let you interact with other players in a fun and safe way, without text-based toxicity risks.
💯 **Reward Track Items**\
All rewards earned purely through leveling up remain traditional in-game assets that cannot be minted.
